The best Faculty of Law in Nigeria to be established in Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, is to commence academic activities next session.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Rev. Fr Prof. Christian Anieke announced this today in Enugu during sensitization visits to Holy Rosary College and College of Immaculate Conception all in Enugu.

The visits were to educate the students of the schools of the opportunities available to candidates who chose Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu for their academic activities.
During the visits, the students who were mainly SS3, SS2 and SS1 students asked question on the activities of the university, and the opportunities available to those studying in the institution.
In the address, Reverend Father Professor Anieke explained that the university had concluded arrangements with the Golden Gate University, California for the training of the law students of the school.
The Vice Chancellor reminded the students that studying at Godfrey Okoye University would ensure the continuity of the discipline and prayer life they have acquired from their secondary schools.
Reverend Father Professor Anieke reminded the students that enrolling at Godfrey Okoye university would not only ensure early completion of their studies but also make it possible for them to go for their national service the same year they complete their studies.
He said the students would equally have opportunities to travel to partner universities and institutions abroad for academic programmes.
In a speech, the Principal Holy Rosary College, Enugu, Reverend Sister Angela Igwe commended the vice chancellor for his commitment to the proper training of the youths and promised the support of the school to the university.
In an address, the Principal of College of Immaculate conception, Enugu, Reverend Father Dr Ambrose Nwankwo advised the students to plan their academic life to avoid regrets later in life.
He described Godfrey Okoye University as an ideal university where the students would be equipped with the required knowledge for self-reliance.
In their comments, the students commended the Vice Chancellor for the enlightenment and promised to identify with the university in their academic activities.
Responding to some of the questions, the Dean, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Reverend Sister Professor Gloria Njoku said the fees payable by students in the university were the cheapest in private universities in Nigeria.
Highlight of the visits was the inspection of on-going projects as well as physics, chemistry, biology laboratories and Home Economic practical class by Reverend Father Professor Anieke and his encourage.
